Privacy Policy of the website www.tourismusmanagement.it

On this page, Tourismusmanagement explains how it processes the data of users who visit its website and how the cookies installed on this website work.

This privacy policy is provided pursuant to Art. 13 of the GDPR 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union, which harmonises the rules on the processing of personal data), Recommendation No. 2/2001 of the Article 29 Working Party and the general provision of the Italian Data Protection Authority on cookies No. 229 of 8 May 2014.

The following information applies exclusively to the website www.tourismusmanagement.it. The data controller is not responsible for data and cookies placed or installed by third-party websites that may be accessed via links.

Purpose of processing and mandatory information. Tourismusmanagement processes the data that users voluntarily provide via the forms on the website solely in order to respond to their enquiry. For any further purposes (for example, but not limited to, marketing or sharing your data with partner companies for their marketing purposes), we will expressly ask for your explicit, voluntary and separate consent, stating the specific reason, in addition to the consent you give for us to respond to your enquiries.

Providing your data and consenting to its processing are necessary for us to handle your enquiries. Consent to processing for further purposes is voluntary.

For information on the data collected by our website through the installation of cookies, please refer to the relevant section (“Cookies on our website”).

Processing methods, automated decision-making and data retention periods. Your data is processed electronically, although processing in paper form cannot be ruled out. No automated decision-making is used to process your personal data.

Personal data collected via the forms on our website is stored for as long as strictly necessary to handle your enquiries. If another legal provision requires the data to be stored for longer, we comply with that requirement. Data collected via cookies is stored for the period specified for each individual cookie.

Disclosure, dissemination and transfer of data to third countries or international organisations. Your data will not be disclosed or transferred to third parties other than Tourismusmanagement without your explicit, voluntary consent. The data you provide is not transferred to third countries and complaints to the supervisory authority. Cookies on our website

Browsing data
During normal operation, this website implicitly collects, through the use of Internet communication protocols, certain personal data of users who visit it, such as IP addresses, the domain names of the computers used by users to access the website, MAC addresses assigned by network card manufacturers, Wi-Fi, etc.

This information is not collected in order to identify users, although identification could be possible through associations and cross-processing with third-party data. This data is used to obtain statistical information on the use of the website and how it functions, and to help establish liability in the event of computer crimes.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by a user store on their device. These files are sent back to the website that stored them when the user visits it again. If, while browsing the website, the user also receives cookies sent by other websites or web servers, these are referred to as third-party cookies.

Cookies are used for various purposes, including computer authentication, monitoring browsing sessions and selecting the language.

First-party and third-party cookies
Cookies placed directly by Tourismusmanagement are “first-party cookies”. Cookies placed and collected by a website other than the one the user is browsing are called “third-party cookies”.

Third-party cookies include social buttons (or social plug-ins), which allow the website to interact with the best-known social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., Google Analytics cookies, and those required to embed YouTube frames, etc. For third-party cookies, the respective third-party providers are responsible for providing the privacy notice and information on how the collected data is managed.

Types of cookies

Technical cookies
Technical cookies are usually installed directly by the website operator and enable communication between the website and the user. They may be navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal browsing and use of the website and are usually stored for the duration of the browsing session. There are also functionality cookies, which improve the use of the website, such as those for selecting the website language, adding selected items to the shopping cart, etc.

As these cookies are essential for the website to function, no prior consent is required for them to be stored on the user’s device.

Analytics cookies
These are cookies that allow information about users to be collected in more or less aggregated form, for example on the number of users visiting the website or how they use it. One of the best-known tools for producing these statistical reports is Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc.

Analytics cookies can be treated as technical cookies if the information is collected in aggregated form and it is not possible to identify the habits of individual users. With regard to Google Analytics cookies in particular, it is necessary to anonymise, at least partially, the IP address of the user visiting the website and to prevent the data from being shared with Google. If such anonymisation and prevention of sharing are not possible, these cookies are classed as profiling cookies.

Profiling cookies
These cookies are used to record a user’s preferences and to show them advertising based on that information. These cookies are particularly invasive, and the user’s consent must be obtained before they are stored on their device. The use of profiling cookies also requires notification to the Italian Data Protection Authority pursuant to Art. 37(1)(d) of Legislative Decree 196/2003.

Banner on first access
In accordance with the provision of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 8 May 2014, when cookies other than technical cookies are used, a banner (short notice) must be displayed when the user first accesses the website, briefly summarising how the website uses cookies and containing a link to the full privacy policy.

Tourismusmanagement has set up this banner. By clicking anywhere outside the banner, the user accepts the placement of cookies and can continue to use the website. In addition, a special cookie stores the user’s choice regarding the installation of cookies for 365 days, which means the user will only see the banner once. If the user wishes to change their choice at a later date, they must follow the instructions under “How to disable cookies”.
